How do I get the price of an Amazon product with an API?

Call GET /product-details?asin=ASIN&country=US. price is the current price, original_price is the struck-through list price and currency is the marketplace currency. price is null when the product is unavailable.

Does it return all variations of a product?

Yes. variations lists the dimensions, such as size and colour, with their values and every variation’s ASIN. Price and stock are for the ASIN you asked for; call the endpoint again with another variation’s ASIN to get its price.

How fresh is the data?

Results are cached for up to 10 minutes. meta.fetched_at says when Amazon’s page was read and meta.cached says whether you got a cached copy.

Amazon product details and price API

GET /product-details takes an ASIN and a country code and returns everything public on the Amazon product page: title, brand, current price and list price with currency, images, rating, ratings count, availability, badges, bullet points, description, the product details table, category breadcrumbs with browse node IDs, Best Sellers Rank and “bought in past month”, plus the buy box seller, coupons and delivery text, every variation ASIN, videos and the A+ content.

What GET /product-details returns

Everything public on the product page: title, brand, price, list price, images, rating, ratings count, availability, badges, bullet points, description, product details table, category breadcrumbs, Best Sellers Rank, "bought in past month" and whether the product has variations. `is_prime` is true when Amazon shows a Prime badge; null when unknown (logged-out pages rarely show Prime). `original_price_type` is the page's label for the original price, e.g. "Print List Price" on Kindle pages.
