What if Amazon searches for something else?

When Amazon corrects the query to something other than your code, results is an empty list rather than a list of unrelated products, and corrected_query says what Amazon searched for instead.

Which code lengths are accepted?

8, 10, 12, 13 or 14 digits: UPC-A, EAN-8, EAN-13, ISBN-10, ISBN-13 and GTIN-14.

UPC, EAN and ISBN to ASIN API

GET /product-lookup searches one Amazon marketplace for a UPC, EAN, ISBN or GTIN and returns the organic matches, best match first, with sponsored results removed. Each result carries the ASIN, title, price and rating, the same fields as /search. Hyphens and spaces in the code are ignored, and ISBN-10 may end in X.

What GET /product-lookup returns

Searches one Amazon marketplace for a UPC, EAN, ISBN or GTIN and returns the organic search results, best match first, with sponsored results removed. Same result fields as /search. Matches are not verified against the barcode: search cards carry no barcode, so check the top result before relying on it (call /product-details with its ASIN). If Amazon searched for something other than the code (it corrected the query), results is [].
